About this project

This project consists of a custom chess set where each piece is based on characters from the traditional Processó de Verges, a cultural event in Catalonia.

Every figure was modeled in Blender with a stylized, collectible figure aesthetic, combining heritage and playfulness. From the Roman soldier to the skeleton, the Samaritan woman, and the hooded penitents, each one represents a symbolic role within the procession.

The board was also customized with a cross-shaped layout to enhance the theatrical presentation of the set.
